New Printable Posters: Ölgemälde
A NEW COLLECTION!
I'm so excited to share our new collection of printable posters, Ölgemälde. It includes 8 antique paintings curated by Meta Coleman. She’s a prop stylist, an interior designer, a production designer, a travel/magazine/vintage/design addict (like me), a mother, and a thoughtful friend. I'm so grateful to know her!
"As early as I can remember I have always been surrounded by art. Even as a young child my mother took me to every art museum that was local to us as well as when we visited her home in Germany. My grandfather was a POW survivor in both World Wars. In prison he carved the most beautiful frames and containers with a nail and his small tin food rations. Many years after World War II he began to collect paintings from 19th century German painters. He wanted to surround himself with beauty. I have always been fascinated with his optimism and love of art in some of the most difficult of circumstances. Although I never got to meet my grandfather, his collection and legacy has stayed with our family. This collection that I have curated for you are pieces that are beautiful, inspiring and meaningful to me. Possibly you will feel connected to them as I do. I hope you enjoy." - Meta Coleman
